The Goldener Hirsch is a 15th century townhouse hotel situated on the lively old town shopping lane of Getreidegasse, 150 metres from Mozart's birthplace. The 69 guestrooms feature period-style decor in rich colours, with antique furnishings from the Countess Walderdorff Collection. DRIVING DIRECTIONS
The airport is a 15-20 minute train journey from Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (main railway station). The number 77 bus also runs at regular intervals between the airport and the main railway station. Taxis are available outside the airport terminal. The best way to get around Salzburg is on foot. There is also an inexpensive bus and tram system, as well as a network of bike paths.
