Taxis are available right outside the airport terminal and charge around $15 to the city centre. The best way to get around and see Salzburg is on foot. However, there is also an inexpensive bus and tram system, as well as a network of bike paths. Cars are banned from parts of the old town.

From Munich, take the A1 towards Vienna and exit at Salzburg Mi
tte. Go straight ahead towards Zentrum and follow the main road
Ignaz- Harrer-Straße. Go across the river to St. Julien
Straße, under the railway bridge and into Gabelsbergerstra
ße. At the second traffic lights, turn right into Paracels
usstraße. The hotel is 150 metres away from here.
